Just having a single mission as playable out of 30 is not enough to convince players they need to go ahead and throw away $6.99 at a game that might or might not be a fun experience. Furthermore, the game is designed to introduce the player to the story and gameplay of the full game, so don’t enter expecting to get the full experience, you’ll be sorely disappointed. Halo: Spartan Assault Lite contains the first of 30 missions compared to the premium version according to the game’s description. Microsoft is hoping players will take a liking to the free version, which could make for potential customers for the full version of the game. If you’re not interested in spending $6.99 on Halo: Spartan Assault for your gorgeous Windows Phone 8 device, then you’re in luck, because Microsoft released a free version of the game called Halo: Spartan Assault Lite.
